Bad Day .. Huh?

So, you have a Bad Day? My ranting can not even begin to express the frustration and disappointment. I'm still in shock. Eagles 44, Cowboys 6, I think this is THE worst season-ending loss in history for this team. The Cowboys, now 9-7 for the third time in the past four years after the humiliating loss, now I will have to go back to my old saying...New Year New Team?? And I say that with such question. Man I HAVE to be the ultimate fan to still love those boys..."Because to me, and this is the scary part, the Cowboys lost more than a game here. Oh, we can sit here and say the Cowboys have never lost a season-ending game by 38 points. We can say the Cowboys have not suffered a worse loss since being beaten 43-3 by Minnesota in that 3-13 season of 1988. We can say this is the most points the Cowboys have given up in a season-finale in club history, two more than the previous high scored by San Francisco in 1983 and the third most points the Cowboys have given up in the past 55 games - having to go back to the 49-21 beating put on them by these same Eagles in 2004.

These are just numbers, tangible accountings of a game that grew out of hand in the final two minutes of the first half, an implosion of sorts. Maybe as mighty as the one ultimately lowering the boom on Texas Stadium after all these years".

So, now the question is, How do we recover? Well it is like Jerry Jones says...no rash decisions but every single person involved going to the woodshed. Jerry kept saying how he has high expectations for this team. Well, of course. It's not like he doesn't probably have the highest payroll in the NFL, the most talent collected on one team... But this goes to show you have to have a strong leader. You have ONE guy to keep it together no matter what happens. This Cowboy team obviously does not have that in coaching, Romo, anywhere on the offense or defense. Not anywhere to be seen...so now the Boys are sent home beaten and bruised in every sense.

So I leave this incredibly horrible and disappointing season with this....

2009-2010... NEW YEAR, NEW TEAM!

Go Figure...

First of all, my "rant". What the hell is Jerry Jones doing calling out Barber about his toughness? He needs to be calling out Romo, TO and Whitten...acting like high school boys. Ridiculous and evidently Jerry needs to get a reality check as well.

Now as for the Giants...Welcome to Texas! It was good to see a good Cowboys defense and a WELL rounded offense. See what happens when you DISTRIBUTE the ball Romo? He was accused of favoring his buddy Whitten, ended up completing passes to nine guys. Consequently getting TOUCHDOWNS. GO FIGURE! It was also good to see Deon Anderson get his firs NFL touchdown. It was finally fun to watch the Cowboys play again.

So here comes the playoffs. Hopefully get past the first round.

Enough about ball now, let's talk babies. Only on a "chick's" blog, huh?

Candra has moved into her new apartment and is so happy. She and Danny are settling into their new lives beautifully. She is finished with this semester and I think very nervous about Nataleigh being born. She doesn't really say so but she seems a bit nervous.

Crue will hopefully come home for the Holidays next weekend and Zans the day after Christmas will be back home. I love it when all my babies are home.

Now as for Nikkos, as everyone knows he's not really due until February 5. Then they were saying January 25. Now, supposedly, it can be any day. I am so miserable. I have doctor's appointments pretty regularly now so curious to see what they all have to say. Candra is doing so well...see what a difference in 20 years of age will do for a woman pregnant? Maybe I am just getting too soft in my old age?! Doubtful, but it seems so more and more each passing day. All that said, I am ready to have this baby. I think David is just ready for me to get back to "normal". I believe I am wearing him out.

"Christmas Came Early"

Well, Patrick Crayton summed it up the best, "Christmas came early for the Steelers". "The game was GIVEN away", not taken, not "got away" it was simply GIVEN away... I think they played well, minus 5 turnovers, lol. Geez, next week...Giants.. At least we are home.
