UGLY

Yesterday's game was so very ugly. However, it was nice to see the defense again. Welcome back to the team. I don't care what ANYONE says, watching Johnson as quarterback is horrible. There is not ONE thing exciting, great or inspiring about watching him play. Hate it. Watching Romo mess up time after time is never as bad as watching Johnson on a "good day". Can only imagine what will happen in New York. Lets hope that our illustrious defense will show up for that game as well. Obviously we needed this win no matter how badly it looked. Spirits seem to be up a bit. I was just thinking, how does it feel to be Tampa Bay today? To get beat by this horrible Cowboy team? Just a question in thought...

On the home front... I think we are changing the name for the baby. Who knows what will be decided upon. Candra is doing so good. She looks so beautiful these days, not that she doesn't all the time. But she looks happy, healthy and very lively. She's still going to St. Mary's and I think is looking forward to some time off. Crue is also doing the college thing. Not much time for mom but he seems to stop by from time to time to "check on me". I like that a lot. And ZAN... baby ZAN. She's something. Starting basketball now, which is NOT her sport. I think she only plays because of Candra and I. She's so mature for her age it scares me at times. All in all we are so blessed and so happy to have our families growing. My life seems so complete these days and I have not felt this content before. Life is good, now if my sports life could even out it would ALL be good....LOL

A wake up call?... Simplify?...

A wake up call? Time to simplify? hmmm...yah think? At least Coach isn't blaming everyone else (not that he couldn't point plenty of fingers). What was that? I love to watch his press conferences. He's so frank and to the point. Through the game I was to the point that I was waiting to see Coach himself put some pads on and throw the ball. Or heck even Garrett. Wasn't Garrett the all time best "back up". Not like he doesn't know the plays, and again, how much worse could he have been. The shock factor alone would have got us a first down or a tackle. Not sure what else you can say after a game like that. Shameful but I think they will recover and get back on track. The players seem a bit more focused. We will see...

Embarrassing win... more embarrassing loss...

Well last weeks win was a win. I usually say "a win is a win, whether by 3 or 30". But last week, embarrassing. This week, I can't even begin to start on what happened. Or didn't.

I hear the Saints has a new good luck charm. Kim Kardashian. Ok, since we are locked onto Romo I want to trade Jessica for Kim and two future picks... lol... Can we do that? Hell, at this point what can hurt huh?

Cowboys and skins

Well a loss is a loss. Just so everyone is clear. This is NOT the end of the world. The Cowboy organization is NOT a house of cards. It was a loss, a learning exercise hopefully for the coaching staff who cost us this game. Now as for the even bigger controversy of TO's comment. So he wants the ball. So he was emotional. He's outspoken. Always has been always will be. Has he not proved to be a huge asset to the Cowboy team...YES! So, that said, I agree with TO. Give him the dang ball. It's not like the game could have gotten any worse. If you lose by 2 or 20 it is STILL a loss. Build on it, learn from it coaches and let the boys do what they do best...play ball. The sports media really needs to find something else to gossip about. They are worst than a bunch of 12 year old girls. Facts not right, quotes not right and always a spin on things...idiots.
